In this fun, hands-on workshop, you'll transform an Iron Orchid Designs (IOD) wood blank into a beautiful, mixed-media work of art using paint, decoupage, decorative moulds, and a variety of creative finishing techniques.

We'll start by painting and decorating your wood blank, then explore how to layer beautiful decoupage papers with dimensional embellishments made from IOD moulds. You'll learn techniques for creating and finishing mould castings, incorporating IOD stamps, and using specialty waxes, antiquing, and gilding to add depth, texture, and character to your creation.

The sample shown features a charming gingerbread theme with vintage-inspired frames, decorative mouldings, and festive details, but your project is entirely up to you! Choose your own colors, papers, moulds, and embellishments to create something that reflects your personal holiday style. Whether you prefer traditional Christmas, rustic farmhouse, Victorian elegance, or something whimsical and unexpected, we'll help you bring your vision to life.

All materials included: IOD wood blank, decorative decoupage papers, IOD moulds and casting materials, paints, stamps, specialty waxes, gilding products, and all tools and supplies needed to complete your project. No prior crafting experience necessary!
