Vintage Cast Iron & Stamped Metal Door Knob Set | Antique Architectural Hardware Salvage w/ Spindle

This authentic set of vintage door knobs is a fantastic find for a period home restoration or an industrial upcycling project. Likely dating to the early-to-mid 20th century, this pairing perfectly illustrates the history of a well-used home.

Interestingly, the set features a mismatched pairing connected by a standard square threaded iron spindle. One knob appears to be a heavier, black cast iron (or heavily japanned/painted metal) with a classic concentric ringed design on the face. The opposing knob is a lighter, stamped metal (possibly steel or tin) with a smooth face and a heavily worn, mottled grey/silver patina showing the base metal beneath. Both knobs retain their original flathead set screws. Please note: This set includes the two knobs and the connecting spindle; it does not include the wall backplates (rosettes).
