This vintage brooch features high quality art glass stones that simulate semiprecious gemstones. The center cabochon is a dark red faux bloodstone. It is flanked by blue keystone-shape glass stones with flecks of metallic gold, simulating lapis. and at top and bottom are two keystone-shaped striped green and black faux malachite glass stones. All are prong-set in textured silver-tone to replicate the form of traditional Scottish “pebble” jewelry. The back is marked MIRACLE, though the mark is blurry and hard to read. Safety clasp holds well. Dates to the 1960s to 1970s.
