Add a rugged, reliable hand tool to your vintage hardware section with this Fuller #15 forged hatchet. Manufactured in Japan, this classic camp axe features a solid forged steel head with a built-in nail puller notch and a lightweight tubular steel shaft.
The heavy steel head displays its stamped maker's marks ("FULLER #15 FORGED" and "JAPAN - BF") and still retains great remnants of its original high-visibility orange factory paint clinging to the recesses of the metal. Whether purchased by an outdoorsman for camping around the Kitsap Peninsula or picked up by a hobbyist for a custom tool restoration, it remains a highly functional and durable piece.
Condition
Grade: Fair / Restoration Condition
Details: The forged steel head shows a dark age patina, standard edge wear from active use, and traces of the original orange paint. The black rubberized grip is intact along the main handle but has significant tearing and material loss at the very base (the pommel), exposing the hollow tubular steel interior.
