Vintage "The Last Supper" Promotional Mirror | Pioneer Insurance Agency, Poulsbo WA

This is a fantastic piece of local Kitsap Peninsula history paired with classic religious iconography. Dating likely from the 1940s or 1950s, this rectangular glass mirror features a vibrant, printed reproduction of Leonardo da Vinci's "The Last Supper," framed by a striking green geometric border.

At the bottom center, a gold-toned banner reads: "Compliments of PIONEER INSURANCE AGENCY, POULSBO, WASH." Promotional mirrors like this were popular mid-century giveaways for local businesses to gift to clients around the holidays. It still includes its original textured cardboard backing with a string hanger, as well as the original simple brown cardboard protective sleeve. Because it features a specific Poulsbo business, this will be a highly desirable piece for local Kitsap County history buffs or advertising collectors browsing your booth.

Details: The piece is structurally sound and includes the original box, but the mirror backing is showing significant age. There is noticeable "desilvering" (flaking and loss of the reflective backing/image) along the top edge above the figures' heads. The cardboard back and hanging string are fully intact.
