This beautiful sterling Art Deco-inspired brooch was created in Taxco, Mexico during the 1980s. The large swooping bow is held by a double band of gold vermeil. It is marked MEXICO TC-09 925. This indicates the city of origin, the registration of the silversmith, and the silver content. Safety clasp holds well. An additional hook-like bale on the back allows it to be used as a pendant or pearl enhancer, as well as a brooch.
