This vintage handpainted Mexican Tonalá pottery charger plate features a traditional burnished finish. The central medallion depicts a pair of elegant cranes or water birds standing near reeds, beautifully offset by a large floral bloom and elaborate geometric scroll bands on the rim. The reverse side is handpainted in script Mexico and with the artisan’s initials A.S.
